Dessert, anyone?

One of the perks (and there are many) of making chocolates regularly is that when unexpected guests arrive for dinner or at anytime, putting together a little something-something for a tasty treat is but a container and plate away.

Recently I put together a plate of ginger, meyer lemon w/ mint, maple syrup, and a sesame nougat.  It was well received....

  1. Elaine thanks for posting this. I usually spoil myself a lot for these delicacies. One time while I was shopping, the lovely lady behind the counter never approached me, I think that she knew that the choosing process was one of the joys of buying traditional sweets. I used to stand there looking in awe at all of the options - deciding what would go into my paper bag. And then, just as I was about to commit, a different old-fashioned sweet would catch my eye and I'd change my mind again. It's great being a child in a retro sweetshop - but it makes deciding so very difficult. LOL
